with mod do you mean downloading ipsw 3.1.2, patching it with pwnagetool and then running your software? I tried the GUI without success, will try the console tool tomorrow and ask you about any issue.

i) The GUI doesn’t seem to work, even running it as root.
It says the iPhone is not detected in DFU mode.
ii) Where is located the command line version? I can’t find it.
My iPhone was fu**ed (rebooting each n minutes and stuck in the pineapple logo) after installing an Isy package (Python), do you think canihazrecover will work on it?

Ok, I found the command line tool on:
canihazrecover.app/Contents/MacOS/canihazrecoverdoku/patch2G
now there is a new error:
