3GS Support BETA
June 12, 2010
Try it. Works with iPhone 3GS Old iBoot.
If you want, donate at lucatodesco2@gmail.com (Paypal)
You need a jailbroken (spirit not allowed) 3GS OldiBoot.
If you aren’t jbroken (need 3.1.2) you can use redsn0w to pwn iBoot and then use this.

Hi, I have a 3gs jailbroken with blackra1n with 3.0 firmware on it that doesn’t boot. Can I use your tool?I hope yes, I’m desperate cause I don’t want to lost my data.
I forgot to say that I have 3.0 ecid saved on my mac and in saurik’s server.
Yep =) -but it’s beta, I can’t test cuz i don’t have an iphone3gS
so 90% can work.
plz. tell me if works so I can create a stable release
Tomorrow I will try, if it works wait my paypal donation
.Do I need last version of itunes installed?I must only plug the cable, launch the program, do the instructions and cross fingers right?
Thanks in advance for your support ^_^.
You need to put iPhone in Recovery mode, script will help you.
For iTunes I don’t know O.o
Use 9.1.1 as it’s the version I use for tests
I don’t know if works because I don’t have a 3gs to test…
What firmware do you have now? CanIHaz upgrades to OFFICIAL 3.1.2 so you need a untethered jailbreak done with purple/black/red/pwnagetool. No spirit.
You’ve got ecid as you wrote, so if doesn’t work you can downgrade and rejailbreak forever.
Thanks for your support but I have two questions
.
The first one is where I can download the last version with 3gs support, I didn’t find it.
The second one is if I lose my data if I upgrade with this tool to 3.1.2.
I have firmware 3.0, so an old one, but if I upgrade my phone to 3.1.2 won’t I lose all my data?
I understood that tool recover the boot only but if make an update I fear to lose everything cause I didn’t sync with itunes recently.
So, last 3gs version is on this article.
Download it.
Doubleclick iPhwon3GS.
Terminal will be open.
Follow the howto.
Restore custom ipsw.
It’s beta for 3GS, I haven’t tested it.
90% is ok.
10% you can lose all data.
Take your risks, or no?
